Electric Dolly AI: Subscription & Content License Agreement

This Agreement is between Electric Dolly AI (“the Service,” “we,” or “us”) and the individual subscriber (“Subscriber,” “you”). By subscribing to the Service, you agree to the following terms regarding the use, protection, and limitations of the content provided.
1. The Service and Grant of License
Electric Dolly AI provides access to synthetic histories, dream sequences, and journal entries delivered over a designated timeline, up to a maximum 3-year narrative arc for a specific character (the “Content”).
Upon payment of the subscription fee, the Service grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and view the Content strictly for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
2. Strict Restrictions on Use and Sharing
The Subscriber acknowledges that the Content, including the narrative text and the sequence of delivery, is the proprietary intellectual property of Electric Dolly AI. You strictly agree NOT to:
- Reproduce or Copy: Print, download, screenshot, or digitally scrape the Content.
- Distribute or Share: Forward, leak, or share access to the Content or your account credentials with any third party or non-subscriber.
- Publicly Display: Post snippets, full entries, or summaries of the Content on social media, public forums, or personal websites.
- Commercialize or Train: Use the Content for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to the training, fine-tuning, or prompting of other Large Language Models or artificial intelligence systems.
3. Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Content remain exclusively with Electric Dolly AI. Furthermore, the underlying mechanics generating the Content—specifically the emotional decay formulas, multi-tier memory structures, and synthetic generation prompts—constitute highly confidential trade secrets. No ownership rights to the Content or the underlying technology are transferred to you via this subscription.
4. Term, Termination, and Narrative Completion
The Service intends to deliver the character’s journal and narrative over a 3-year timeline. However, the Service reserves the right to conclude the narrative, suspend, or terminate the Service at any time.
We reserve the right to terminate your access immediately, without notice or refund, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated the restrictions in Section 2.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties (“As-Is”)
The Service and Content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Electric Dolly AI makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the continuous availability, error-free delivery, or specific emotional impact of the Content. We do not guarantee that the Service will remain uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Electric Dolly AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of this Agreement exceed the total amount paid by you for the subscription during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles, regardless of the Subscriber’s geographic location.
